Four separate Bingham lines have been identified: Binghams of Southeast Kentucky; Binghams from Knox Co., KY who went west to Missouri, Arkansas, and Texas; Binghams of Connecticut. Also several small groups of indeterminate origins. Three separate Bigham lines: Ireland to Tennessee and Texas, a group from Scotland and and a group from Pennsylvania. Three Bingaman males have submitted their dna, however, they are clearly not related. Some of the 12 marker tests have more non-Bingham matches than Bingham. Clearly the minimum of 37 markers should be tested to determine a clear match.
