The Billington surname DNA Project is open to any male Billington or anyone who believes their patrilineal (direct male-line) ancestry derives from a Billington family.
The first Billington family in the New World was John Billington (with sons John and Francis) who came over in the Mayflower in 1620. The son John died without marrying so the line continues through son Francis.
