This project aims to serve as a resource for those interested in Bellamy genealogy and related DNA testing.  As the project's founder was both an author and descendant of "John Bellamy I" (meaning the endentured servant of Goochland County in early 1700s colonial Virginia), we currently have more information on this particular line of Bellamys than we have on the others. That said, we'd like to expand this page to provide high-level background information pertaining to each major line identified through Y-DNA and autosomal testing.  Please reach out to the site administrator with any input you'd like to offer to further develop the content of this page.  

Bellamy in early Virginia:
The comprehensive "must read" resource for this line is "The Bellamys of Early Virginia", by Joe David Bellamy with supporting input from dozens of contributors who also descend from "John I".  This book continues to be available through various outlets, including Amazon.

The original production quantity of the DVD was limited and mostly sold, with others lost when Joe David passed away.
