Our goal is to identify ancestors and descendants of Shmuel Barlaz and his wife Chaya Hinde (?Schechel). Shmuel may have been born in Dubno. Shmuel's children were born in Shepetivka, Khmelnytsky, (currently)Ukraine. The administrator is the wife of a descendant of Elihu Barlaz and Dora (Beila Dvosha) Gwertzman. Dora is a descendant of the Gwertzman and Kossowsky families of Brest-Litovsk (Brest, Brest, Belarus). We believe that the Barlaz family is also cousins to these families.
