The Bacon Surname Project was administered by Terry Barton via worldfamilies.net for many years, after which the project was left without an administrator. Sharland Reeves volunteered to assume the role in March, 2023. The upgrades at the website allow participants to ask questions and communicate with one another. There is now more information available to viewers on the results page. Bacon family historians' interest in Bacon genealogy never ceased, and the project will improve in order to support their research.
