If your Surname spelling is missing, we'll be glad to add it. The progenitor of the Baca family of New Mexico was Cristóbal Baca (Vaca) born about 1567 in colonial Mexico City. There is a Baca Family Historical Project with a website at https://bacafamily.org/ and if you are a descendant of Cristóbal please be sure to be tested for the CCM mutation described on that site.
