The Asturias DNA Project was launched on December 15, 2009. This is a dual mtDNA and Y-DNA project that is open to the public. For all those interested in participating, please be willing to provide the following information: *Which side your Asturian ancestry is derived from; *Your Current location (can either be national or continental); *Geographic location of your earliest known (Asturian) relative (can either be national or continental); *The surname of your earliest known (Asturian) relative.
