About us
This project was created in January 2024 by the Arizona State Society DAR DNA Network Committee to support the National Society DAR (NSDAR) DNA Project. The NSDAR began accepting Y-DNA evidence January 1, 2014 in support of new member applications and supplemental applications. In July 2020 the NSDAR began accepting the use of atDNA and mtDNA within the three most recent generations to prove lineages on applications and supplemental applications.
It should be noted that DNA evidence must be submitted along with other documentation to prove lineages on applications and supplemental applications. At the present time, DNA can be submitted as evidence to prove only one lineage link within the application.
