The ASDAR DNA Project welcomes all participants, both male and female, desiring to prove lineage to an American Revolutionary War patriot. Males with direct descent from an American Revolutionary War patriot are encouraged to take the Y-DNA 37-marker test. Males with maternal descent and females with lineage to an American Revolutionary War patriot are also encouraged to join the project. Your autosomal DNA results may be the key to breaking a brick wall in your’s or someone else’s genealogy. This is a public project. When you join you are making surname, ancestor and DNA related results public, but your personal information remains private and anonymous. We do not publish your full given name, kit number or contact information.
