The following "Groups" are defined as unrelated WESTON families. Project participants are assigned to a Group based on their relatedness to other Group members. For the purposes of participants are deemed to be related if the Time Most Recent Common Ancestor (TMRCA) is less than 800 years with a 95% probability. Groups are identified by the earliest known place of residence and the year for the oldest Most Distant Ancestor (MDA) in the respective group. Participants are shown by their Group assignment on the 'YDNA Results' page and their YSearch ID below.
