McLaughlin, Maclaughlan, McLauchlin, MacLachlan, McGlothlin, Loughlin or any reasonable spelling variation are welcome to join the project. Only males have Y-chromosomes, so only male McLaughlins (or variants) can participate. If you are female, you can have a male McLaughlin relative submit a sample for your line. For best results, testees will need to share their direct male line ancestry back to the earliest known McLaughlin (excluding living persons).
