The purpose of this project is to aid genealogists researching the surname CORBIN and its variants through the use of Y-chromosome DNA testing. All CORBIN/CORBEN/CORBAN/etc. males are welcome to join the project. As only males have a Y-chromosome, only males can be tested. If you are female, you can have a male relative submit a sample on behalf of your line.

To participate meaningfully, testees will need to share their direct male line ancestry back to the earliest known CORBIN. This is a requirement, not an option, for participation in the project because DNA test results, without lineages, are useless.
