The Clan Donnachaidh DNA Project invites people of Scottish, Irish, and English heritage, worldwide, who bear the surnames of our Clan (Donachie, Duncan, Robertson, Reid, McConnachie) or any of the septs of our clan listed at www.donnachaidh.com to participate in this Y-DNA surname project. We are trying to test the many different family lines that are within the Donachie, Duncan, Robertson, McConnachie, and Reid families.
We are looking for participants or sponsors of participants that will participant, provide genealogy information, & correspond with their new DNA matches.
This project is dedicated to these family names worldwide. The overall project's plan is to encourage as many members of our families to test in order to more completely understand the deep origins of the our families in the British Isles. Male descendants from around the world are invited to join the project to test their Y-DNA.

All participants will be included in the ongoing studies and by joining the project; you are giving consent for your information to be anonymously included (via your kit #) in ongoing genetic genealogy research. Your personal identity will not be revealed, but your results will be used to better understand the surnames of Clan Donnachaidh as a people and the history of our ancestors.
