Project Background
The Banister Surname Project was formed to help family research make a genetic connection to their past. Participation is open to all Banisters with different surname spellings living anywhere in the world. Once your test results are posted all we ask is for you to please post your genealogy tree on the site to help participants see your ancestors. This is an excellant tool to identify different individuals who connect or do not connect to our tree.
