The Wheelton/Wheeldon/etc. surname is thought to have originated in England's Northwest region.  While it's fairly uncommon, no one has tackled the project of identifying branches or specific locales associated with it.

The purpose of this project is to try to piece together the family, using DNA results to supplement traditional research.
