The Metcalfe Society ( www.metcalfe.org.uk ) has been in existence now for over 25 years and in that time has collated extensive information on the Metcalfe family trees and of closely related spellings of the name. Members have collated large amounts of information through conventional genealogical research to piece together many trees. The advent of DNA testing now provides an additional tool for those interested in researching their Metcalfe ancestry and determining their genetic relationship to other Metcalfes.
