All HICKS & HIX families are welcome to join our worldwide DNA project (including various surname spellings of Hicks).

Who is related? Where did our ancestors come from? We invite you to please DNA test in our HICKS family project and find the answers to these questions!

If you are a male Hicks-Hix please join the project by participating in a Y-DNA test.

Any female HICKS should find a male HICKS relative to Y-DNA test for her line. Female Hicks are welcome to have their MtDNA tested in our project (their maternal line). Both Y-DNA and MtDNA results will be on the Hicks/Hix DNA website.

Our surname project is participating in the Family Finder autosomal DNA test.  Both males and females can take the test.  If you have a male or female HICKS - HIX  ancestor in your lineage tree down to seven generations it will show you cousin matches both paternal and maternal.  You are welcome to join us!
