The Y-DNA of Fleming men from the Appalachian mountains will be the focus of this project which has also been set up to house the genetic Y-DNA test results of the Appalachian Clan of Fleming, whose progenitor was Robert Fleming (1773-1852) who immigrated from Ireland to America in the 1790s, and married Elizabeth Stembaugh in Maryland in 1809.
