The Clinkscales Surname Project was begun to:

● Assist researchers from common or related families in finding their shared heritage across international boundaries.

● Identify how participant families are connected, using both genetics and traditional paper research methodology.

● This project is not intended to be a substitute for traditional research and documentation, but to supplement to it.
