Results identify the ethnic and geographic origin of the maternal and paternal lines. Matches for the Y-DNA67 and the Full Mitochondrial Sequence (FMS) tests indicate a recent common ancestor in the paternal and maternal lines respectively between you and your match. The Family Finder Test helps you find family across all your lines, up to 6 generations back, by checking hundreds of thousands of points in your autosomal DNA, and comparing your results with others in the Family Finder database. The customer will be able to download and print a personalized certificate and report.

This option is available for men or women who have Relative Finder results from a third party company that used the Illumina OmniExpress Plus Genotyping BeadChip (this includes tests performed by 23andMe). You may use this option to upload your results to the Family Tree DNA database. This product will provide you with a Family Tree DNA personal page and various features.

Results file with less than 700,000 SNPs (i.e. 23andMe's V2):

You may use this option to upload your results to the Family Tree DNA database. The $19 fee will provide you with a Family Tree DNA personal page which will allow you to:

• Join Family Tree DNA projects freely, but you will not receive matches or a haplogroup prediction.
• Your uploaded results will be available to the administrator and included on the project's public page for comparison with other project members.

For customers who have 33-marker Y-DNA results from a third party company that used the Sorenson's laboratory (this includes tests performed by Ancestry, GeneTree, and Sorenson's SMGF) use this option to upload your results to the Family Tree DNA database and includes additional testing with Family Tree DNA to make your results compatible with our Y-DNA 25 marker test for matching purposes. The $58 fee ($19 transfer fee + $39 for the added markers) will include the same features provided to Family Tree DNA customers:

• Matches: Genetic cousins who share the same paternal line. You will have full access to your matches’ names and e-mail addresses and any genealogical information they have provided. You can immediately begin networking and exchanging information freely.
• Ancestral Origins: Your matches’ paternal origins, listed by country, provide clues about your own recent geographic and ethnic ancestry.
• Haplogroup: The deep ancestral origin your direct paternal line defined by your specific genetic signature.
