About us
The various branches of the Werdesheim family can all be traced back to Mielec, a city in Galicia, and the surrounding area.
We have not yet been able to establish how all the branches are related, although it is highly likely that they are. Many branches changed the name to Wertheim or Wertheimer when they arrived in the U.S. Many of the Werdesheims married Falleks, so we are also interested in descendants of the Falleks of Mielec and Rzeszow. The Geiger family also married in several times.
