30 Sep 2012: Tests have shown that the southern Rosamond family is linked to the Canadian Rosamond family. The latter family is known to be descended from Sergeant Rosamond of County Leitrim, Ireland.
8 May 2009: To date, two (2) members have been tested, both from the Southern US family. Based on the 12-marker test, these two individuals are an exact match. The MRCA (Most Recent Common Ancestor) of the individuals tested is John Roseman of Virginia who is first found in Augusta County, Virginia, and who later moved his family to Abbeville, SC.
