So, far, it seems as if there may be a dominant haplotype (from Y-DNA tests) of men descended from
folks of Przedborz, and that is R1a. This may just be coincidental, since some of the men tested do not have MALE ancestry from Przedborz (so the R1a connection is to somewhere else). Also, none of the men appear to be closely related within the last 20 generations or more. Still, this is interesting. We have been getting about 1 new person per month. I hope to get over 10 folks, especially men doing YDNA tests for male ancestors of this region, and then perhaps we can see if there is anything to this R1a connection.
