Probasco/Bartoszewski/Bartos Worldwide DNA Project. -Anyone with the surnames Probasco, Bartoszewski, Bartosiewicz, Bartos, Bartos+ different endings and any variants are welcome to join us. We are seeking to establish relationships, determine ancestries, and ethnic origins for these families worldwide. If you would like to join our study and receive a discount on your DNA Test kit, please send a request to join authorization and we will include you in our project. We require a 37-marker test. Also included are: Hamilton-J2 DNA Project (VA-KY) - Includes particular families that tie to Leonard Hamilton (Martha Chaudoin) b. 1786 Buckingham, VA who settled in Green County, KY, and Isham Hamilton b. abt 1769 who settled first in Nelson County, KY about 1790, then Washington County, KY. Kerger DNA Project - Includes Kerger families with origins to Germany. Kolarcik DNA Project - Includes Kolarcik, Kolarcsik, Kollarcsik, Kolarćik, Kolarchik (and various spellings) families from Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Czech Republic, etc. Current family is Nicholas Kolarcik (Susanna Liba) b. 1867 (on various records listed as born in the previous areas mentioned) who immigrated to New York and settled in New Jersey. Rager DNA Project - Looking for descendants of Antoni Rüger (Reuger) b. 20 May 1689. He migrated from Switzerland in 1737. He had three children: Antoni Jr., Burckhart and Barbara. Surnames include Reiger, Rieger, Regur, Regar, Ragar, Rager, Reger, Reager, Reagor, and Rigour.
