About us

This project is open to anyone with indigenous Y-DNA lineage traced to Mexico or parts of the southwestern United States that were historically part of Mexico, including Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California. The project defines indigenous Y-DNA lineages as those belonging to certain subclades of Y-DNA Haplogroups Q and C which are thought to be native to the Americas.
