If you look at your map of matches, be aware that if your match did not enter a location for earliest ancestor, that earliest ancestor will have an automatic location of 0'0' which is on the south-east coast of Africa, and the same applies to your entry on their map if you do not enter a location for your ancestors.
Thank you for uploading your gedcom to your FTDNA account so all of your matches in the entire Family Tree DNA organization can view it. This page, however, will be seen by the general public, as well, depending on your personal settings.
