The HAURI DNA Project focuses on connecting and grouping families with HOWRY surnames.

These include the Swiss HAURI family, which has branches in Switzerland, southern Germany and France (HAURY), and North America (HOWERY, HOWREY, HOWRY).

We are also interested in the (apparently unrelated) Scottish (Orcadian) HORRIE, HORRY, HOURIE, HOURY and HOWRIE families, the French (Béarnese) HAURIE, HORRY and HOURIE families, and the Polish HAURY family.
