We are trying to determine if all Grizzle descendants came from one Grizzle immigrant to the United States or if there was more than one.

It appears that all Grizzles descend from one or more immigrants who were first found in Virginia. One of the two main branches then migrated to Virginia and later to Kentucky. The other main branch migrated to Georgia and then to other Southern States. Currently Grizzles can be found in most of the states of the United States.

We would also like to see Grizzles from around the World to participate in the surname project to determine if we are all connected or if there are several distinct lines of Grizzles.
