The Dement Group was started in November 2003 with a couple of descendants of the John and Charity Dement line. It was our hope that other lines would want to join in the search to establish common ancestry of Dements in the US and other parts of the world. We now have over 87 members with several lines represented. We are anxious to work with anyone who seeks to expand the knowledge base of the DEMENT clan. Using the Y-DNA and Haplogroups we believe we can sort out the different lines and their origins. Come join us!
