To participate meaningfully and assist the project, male Y chromosome participants will need to: 1. share their direct male line ancestry back to the earliest known BIGELOW (or variants) (excluding living persons), and 2. enter their earliest known patrilineal ancestor name, date and location (to the extent possible) on their personal page under Most Distant Ancestors. Autosomal DNA will be accepted from both men and women who descend from John Biglo the immigrant. Please see instructions on the Background page.
