On 07 July 2006, the fifth participant, Kit 66753, joined the project. There is speculation that this participant's oldest known ancestor, Joshua Vineyard (born 1812), may be the son of David and Nancy Vineyard and the grandson of Ishmael Vineyard who was born about 1764 in North Carolina.

He is a descendant of Johan Herbert Wingart/Winegardner (1718-1779) who came to America in 1752 aboard the ship Two Brothers. Also, aboard this ship was a Conrad Winegarden. There has been speculation that Conrad and Johan were related. Hopefully, DNA from a descendant of Conrad could be tested to verify this hypothesis.
