This is a Y-chromosome and autosomal DNA lineage project for those with the Thompson Surname or a variant. Thompson, Thomson, Thomazin, MacThomas, or any variation are welcome to join the project. To participate meaningfully, testees will need to share their ancestry back to the earliest known Thompson in the form of a pedigree chart (excluding living persons).
