THREE Matching Funds available:
(1) Matching funds (half of the cost for a test kit) are available for anyone who can show that they descend from Isham or Isom Ready born about 1770 in Virginia and died 1827 in Hardin County, Kentucky. Isham's father was also Isham and they appeared in the area of Amherst County in the 1790s. Isham Ready, Sr. had three known sons: Isham Jr., William, and Richard. Isham Ready, Jr. have a son, James L. Ready, born 1790 in Virginia. James had the following sons all born in Missouri: Isam Ready (b. 1824), James R. Ready (b. ca. 1825), Henry Ready (b. 1828), Morris Ready (b. ca. 1830), and Jackson Ready (b. ca. 1836). (2) Matching funds (half of the cost for a test kit) are available for anyone who can show that they descend from the Philip, John, Augustine, or Jacob Reedy/Ready families from Shenandoah County, Virginia about 1800. In the Shenandoah County Minute Book for 10 September 1810, a guardianship is mentioned for Jacob Reedy, John Reedy, Abraham Reedy, and Philip Reedy, orphans of John Reedy, deceased. (3) Full funding for an Irish participant with the surname Reddy or Ready from County Kilkenny, Ireland will be paid by Daniela Moneta. Applicant must supply his family genealogy showing presents in Kilkenny going back several generations. This project is in conjunction with Dr. Tyrone Bowes of Irish Origenes http://www.irishorigenes.com. The Reddy/Ready clan is known to come from the area around Kilkenny and Dublin. If you are a male carrying the surname Reddy or Ready and come from either Kilkenny or Dublin or surrounding areas, please apply to dmoneta@cox.net.
