About us

At this point we have seen the emergence of at least nine, and perhaps more, distinct Queen haplotypes (lineages). It has become clear that the Queen name in America is the result of morphological changes resulting from spelling and pronunciation variations as various "Queen" ancestors arrived in North America. Contemporary Queens are now looking at surname variants, such as Quin, Quinn, McQueen, Coyne and Queen, and perhaps others, as we try to link families together here in America and push ancestry back to our respective European origins.
