Pipkin Y-DNA Project - Results

2011 RESULTS
July 25, 2011: We now have the 67 marker results for James Pipkin.  James is the first one in our project to test 67 markers!

2010 RESULTS
June 10, 2010. Robert T. Pipkin's 37 marker results are all in, and he is a match to those who have traced their line back to John Pipkin of Chowan County, NC.
September 17, 2010. David Pipken's first 12 marker results have come in. The rest of his results are due back in mid-October. So far it looks like he matches our large group of Pipkin men.

2009 RESULTS
March 27, 2009. Horace's deep clade results have come back, so now we not only know his exact haplogroup, but his results show us what the haplogroup is for everyone who is his match, because anyone who matches has the same haplogroup!
March 31, 2009. 1-12 marker results for James are now in.
April 3, 2009. 13-37 marker results for James Pipkin have posted.

2008 RESULTS
January 30, 2008. 12 marker results were posted for Joseph.
February 6, 2008. Joseph's 13-37 marker results have come in.
July 28, 2008. Horace's upgrade testing results of markers 13-37 have now posted.

2007 RESULTS
May 23, 2007. 1-12 Y-DNA marker results are posted for Horace.
May 24, 2007. 1-37 Y-DNA marker results posted for William.
June 18, 2007. Y-Hap-Backbone SNP results posted for William. He is definitely in Haplogroup R1b1, but since it is just a "backbone" test, we do not know the exact sub-haplogroup.
