Both the Association and its DNA project were started and are managed entirely by volunteers with a personal interest in McQuillan genealogy, who receive no commissions or payments from the project or from any commercial testing company. The information on these project pages is intended provide a basic introduction to the project for those who are interested in joining and testing through FTDNA. A more detailed discussion of the project's objectives, methodology and results, as well as a discussion of other testing options accepted, is at our primary DNA project homepage.
