Welcome to the Gotland DNA-project at FamilyTreeDNA. This project is for those who have either paternal or maternal (or both) ancestry from Gotland. The aim of the project is to understand how closely related people with Gotlandic ancestry is and also how Gotland was populated throughout the history by using result from DNA-research. We encourage our members to share the result of their DNA-testing and traditional family research with other members. When posting information, please share all available information including parishes. We ask for the parishes since they are very important for comparison and family connections.
Välkommen till Gotland DNA-project hos FamilyTreeDNA. Detta projekt riktar sig till dem som har gotländsk härstamning på mödernet och/eller fädernet. Syftet med projektet är att förstå hur nära släkt folk med härstamning från Gotland är, samt att bidra till kunskapen om hur Gotland har befolkats genom historien genom DNA-forskning. Vi uppmuntrar alla medlemmar att dela resultatet av sin DNA-testning och traditionella släktforskning med andra medlemmar. Vi ber er att inkludera all känd information, inklusive socken, när ni postar. Anledningen till att vi ber om socken är att denna ger värdefull information för jämförelseändamål och familjekopplingar.
