About us
The goals for the MacInnes Surname YDNA Group Project are:
* To identify subgroups of matching MacInneses and encourage the sharing of family information
* To gain information about the immigration and settlement patterns of MacInneses
* To investigate historical roots of Clan MacInnes
* Group YDNA test kits and match members that have at least 3 markers in the 27 test group
* To assist members with their genealogical family research by identifying other MacInnes members with whom they have matching YDNA markers and to help them make contact with one another
* To identify subgroups of matching MacInneses and encourage the sharing of family information
* To gain information about the immigration and settlement patterns of MacInneses
* To investigate historical roots of Clan MacInnes
