The Blouin/Belouin/Bellware DNA Project was formally established on April 26, 2006.
A 37 marker refinement test was ordered by two Bellware test subjects (one from Canada and one from the United States) on March 29, 2006. The results for that test were received on May 15, 2006. They showed that 36 out of 37 markers matched.
The results for our first French participant were received on October 31, 2006.
Results for our first participant with the surname Belouin were received on December 28, 2006.
The second French participant's results were received on January 10, 2007.
Results for a participant from Ile D'Orleans, where Emery Blouin settled in 1667 arrived on January 29, 2007.
The first results from a descendent of Daniel Blouin, supplier to the Lewis & Clark expedition were received on June 13, 2007.
Le projet d’ADN Blouin/Belouin/Bellware débuta officiellement le 26 avril 2006.
Le 29 mars 2006, une analyse plus approfondie comportant 37 marqueurs fut commandé par deux sujets de la famille Bellware (un du Canada et l'autre des ÉU). Le 15 Mai 2006, le résultat de ces analyses furent reçus, indiquant que 36 sur 37 marqueurs étaient identiques.
