About us
The TOWNSEND SOCIETY OF AMERICA'S DNA Project is focusing on identifying various TOWNSEND family groups and their members from around the world, with a particular focus on immigration into the US through DNA testing and traditional research.
Participation is open to anyone interested in the TOWNSEND surname.
All males with the TOWNSEND surname including the many variations of the same are particularly encouraged to test to track their male line. Over four hundred sets of YDNA test results have been received and additional tests are in process.
