This project is intended for those whose ancestry is from John Stubbs of Cappahosic, Gloucester Co., Virginia, USA (primarily Virginia and Georgia) and Europe and will identify others who are related, determine a location for further research, and validate existing research. It will create a database of as many Stubbs males as possible, in the hope of finding matches among the samples. This should be particularly helpful for those who desire to trace their ancestry back to Europe and do not know where to start.
This project is open to both Y-DNA paternal lines and mt-DNA maternal lines. All variant spellings are welcome. If your Surname is missing and should be included, we'll be glad to add it. Please visit our website and add your family to the research.
