Merrick Gene DNA to this point in time has traced to the British Isles with a small sample group.
We are working on contacting other family members to join in the project.
A super DNA kit was ordered and was posted along with data on the line from the Merrick line from Pennsylvania.
My research shows that this line came to central Pennsylvania in about 1804 from the MD area of the country.
Many grave markers have both Revolutionary war and Civil war markers for the US Army and other services.

In 2018 the Merrick Foundation in cooperation with Belinda Myrick Barnett, our famous cousin, is planning a
family reunion in Wales and England. Belinda was Miss Texas in 1970 and went on to appear in the USO tour
with Bob Hope during the Vietnam War. She also appeared in "Up With People" and on numerous TV shows.
Her expertise in family history inspired me in the 1990s to begin the Merrick Foundation and document or
