The goal of The Melican DNA Project is to identify the various Melican family lines and possibly find genetic links between them. The project is also open to variant spellings and anglicized versions of Melican, such as Milliken. DNA testing of the male Y-chromosome is the means by which family lines and relationships will be verified in conjunction with any corresponding genealogical documentation.
