The McPheeters Surname Project's Goals are:
1) Determine the probabilities that the various McPheeters (and variant spellings)lines have a relatievly close recent common ancestor.
2) Determine the biologically close groupings of the various family lines.
3) Determine which family groups in certain lines are the outcome of an illegitimate pregnancy.
4) Determine which of the African-American McPheeters and McPeters lines are biologically relted to the white McPheeters/McPeters Family.
