Testing has now been done on 2 individuals, one in the Thomas Kinsey line, and one thought to be in the line of Joseph Kinsey (son of Peter Kisney Jr listed abouve).

Results of these 2 tests were inconclusive, but do show a relationship exists.

A third person, not in this surname group, was found via search of public Y-Database to match 11/12 markers. That person is a Spanish citizen.
