This project started out as a Y-chromosome DNA test, meaning that only Griswold males could join the project. With the addition of the mtDNA test and the Family Finder test, the project is now open to all Griswold descendants, male or female.
We encourage all Griswolds, male or female, with any spelling variation, from any where in the world to participate.
If you are a male with the Griswold surname, please take the Big Y or 111 Marker Y-STR test.
If you are a male with the Griswold surname, please take the Big Y or 111 Marker Y-STR test.
All other Griswold descendants will take the Family Finder (atDNA) and/or Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) test.
