- to establish a genetic link between Kosovo and other high-yield E-V13 Balkan areas and the German/Swiss border area (Hegau, Thurgau, Aargau)
- to establish a link between such populations and the English E-V13 populations
- to attempt to verify/discard the hypothesis for Balkan auxilary troops embedded with the Roman army being the pathway by which E-V13 positive individuals settled in SouthWestern Germany
