We have set up a DNA Project for the Burditt/Burdett/Burdette/Burdet/Burdit Families.
This project was created to encourage male individuals with the surname of Burditt/Burdett/Burdette/Burdet/Burdit, or other Soundex versions of this surname to participate in this project.
We have descendants of John Burdett of Prince William County, VA, b abt 1710; descendants of Frederick Burdett of SC b 15 Oct 1753; William R. Burditt of SC b abt 1755, an additional family from SC, and Robert Burditt (c1633-1667)of Malden, MA.
We encourage individuals from all geographic regions to join in this group. The degree of success of the project is enhanced by a group made up of a variety of ancestors.
