The project goal is simple, we will attempt to the best of our ability to untangle the myths from the realities of our family lineages and establish our future claims of ancestry based on science with the documentation left behind to us by past generations. Where we are related we can celebrate our common heritage and where we are not related we can form our identities from the hero's and plain folks that worked hard to build this county and to make it what it is today. We know we may find lines to the French and Indian War, Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Spanish-American, Civil War (both North and South), WWI, WWII, Korean, Vietnam and other War Veterans. There are Doctors, Governors, Politicians, Judges, Ministers and just plain folks in all of our lines. Our goal is to be able to celebrate the diversity of the Crockett Heritage by allowing us all to find those bonds that are truly ours.
