The Bogle DNA project aims to serve as a gathering place for Bogle men (and those who love them!) who have taken a Y-DNA test, offering guidance and interpretation of those test results. In the long term, the project aims to combine DNA testing technology with paper-trail evidence to determine the origins of (and branches within) the various Bogle lines.

From there, Bogle men will be advised to join other projects focused on more distant matches.

Non-Bogle men whose test results are close matches with Bogle men are welcome to join, as are men or women who have taken the Family Finder test and have known (or possible) connections with ancestors with the Bogle surname.
